Meeting Madame Secretary

Policy Towards Asia".

"An unconfident U.S. cannot lead"

"The future Asia might be the past Europe"

"Since 2001 the U.S. has improved the relationship with every Northeastasian country (...) and has a better relationship than most of them have among each other"

"Our first priority is the elimination of North Koreas nuclear weapons and programs"

"The U.S. has no permanent enemies"

"Our President did not join the Kyoto Protocoll because it would not have made any sense without India and China being part of it"

"We are safer than 9/11 (...) but we are not safe, yet (...) the President does everything in his power from the moment he gets up until he goes to bed to protect us (...) but its difficult because we have to be right 100 % all the time and THEY have to be right just once..."

"U.S. Beef is safe" (Antwort an einen Koreaner)

"Not peace keeping but peace making" (im Bezug auf den Einsatz in Afghanistan)

"During the Cold War no one would have thought that Bush would talk at a NATO meeting in Latvia" (im Bezug auf die Fortschritte des Bündnisses)
